OUR MISSION

Rock the Green is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is to educate and empower the community to take actionable steps to live sustainably.We do this through:
 

  • Engagement – We educate the community through interactive one-to-one experiences that spotlight organizations and innovators in sustainability
     

  • Entertainment – We present a world-class music festival that showcases near-zero waste best practices at a large-scale event

Rock the Green – The Organization

We produce events that leverage near-zero waste efforts and result in a feather light eco-footprint. It’s our goal to embrace all ranges of sustainable living and green fans, whether an occasional recycler or a tenured environmentalist, because every small step helps save the planet. And collectively, every small sustainability step adds up to huge impact. We educate through example, through spotlighting other green leaders in communities and by sharing experiences and eco-stories with our fans.

Rock the Green – The Music Festival

Each year, Rock the Green calls the community to its environmental mission with a world-class music festival. Our inaugural year was 2011.

 

The Rock the Green music festival has three main components:

  1. A World-Class Concert – 6 National Bands and Local Artists

  2. Lifestyle Tent Area – Fan Engagement and Sustainability Education

  3. Local and Organic Cuisine - Free Water Stations
